History, community and credentials

The school’s Colombian and British founders established it in 1956, making 2026 its 70th anniversary year. Secondary accounts describe houses named Beatty, Nelson, Rodney and Hood, with activities across year groups. The school FAQ reports about 80% local and 20% international families.

The school reports CIS accreditation dating from 1998 and Round Square membership. Its IB authorisation is a separate programme credential. School material describes English and Spanish teaching and French, Italian or German options in secondary; entry requirements and course availability vary by year, and fluency in several languages depends on the pupil.

The full IB continuum on a six-day cycle

The reported IB sequence runs from preschool through Grade 11. Directory figures give an average class size of 22 and a maximum of 23; the school reports an international teacher share of about 35%. The six-day ciclo Anglo rotates lesson days across the school calendar; it is not a six-day school week.

For the Class of 2025, the school reports that 92% entered their first-choice course and university and 46% studied abroad. Ask for the cohort size, definitions and destinations alongside the full IB results. Reported activities include expeditions from Grade 1, Round Square exchanges, Model United Nations, the International Award and UNCOLI sports.

The school describes induction involving student volunteers, mentors, house and year heads, and socio-emotional counsellors.

The school’s 2026–27 schedule without an advance payment sets an annual matrícula and nine monthly pensión payments of the same amount: COP 5,894,000 in Pre-Kinder, falling to COP 5,110,000 in Grades 10–11. Insurance (COP 179,000) and the yearbook (COP 276,000) are added to the annual payment, and cafeteria (COP 930,000) and transport (COP 876,000) to each monthly payment. Families who pay an advance on entry, of COP 18,000,000–50,200,000 depending on grade and family category, pay lower rates, from COP 5,112,000 in Pre-Kinder to COP 4,432,000 in Grades 10–11. Fees include the book and supply list but not electronic devices.

Bogotá private-school fees sit under the régimen de libertad regulada, with each school’s tariff set individually. For a transfer from calendario A or a different grade system, ask admissions how it will place your child and bridge any unfinished coursework. An August start is not automatically the best transfer point for every child.

The campus is at Avenida Carrera 19 #152-48 in Las Margaritas. The FAQ gives preschool/primary hours of 8:34am–3:35pm, with preschool ending at 11:50am on Wednesdays, and Grades 5–11 hours of 7:00am–2:30pm. Activities may extend the day. Travel time depends on the home location and bus route.
