How to request a correction
Email corrections@newschoolrun.com with the page address, the claim you believe is wrong, and the evidence — a school publication, a regulator page, or a dated document. Vague disagreements with our editorial judgment are read but are not corrections; factual errors are.
What happens next
We acknowledge within two working days. Verified factual errors are fixed as soon as they are confirmed — typically within one working day for anything that could affect a family’s decision. Where we cannot verify either version quickly, we soften or remove the claim until we can.
How changes are recorded
Material corrections are noted on the page itself with the date. Silent edits are reserved for typos and formatting. Every page also carries a “reviewed” date so you can see when its evidence was last rechecked — and the underlying research dossier is corrected in the same pass, so a fixed error cannot quietly regenerate in a future edit.
A recent example
In September 2026, our Hong Kong city guide attributed a “Capital Note” — HK$6.5 million direct, around HK$4.3 million on the secondary market — to Hong Kong International School. Deeper dossier work on the HKIS profile showed the instrument belongs to The ISF Academy: HKIS’s own debenture brochure states its debentures trade on no secondary market and redeem at par only after 15 years. We corrected the city page, named ISF as the issuer, added a warning that brokers sometimes blur the two schools’ instruments, and logged the correction in the city dossier. That is the standard applied to every page.
