A school search often happens alongside a visa application, a new job and a house move. NewSchoolRun brings together the information families need to compare schools and prepare useful questions for admissions teams.
The questions we start with
What will your child study? Can they join in the intended year group? What support is available, and what does it cost? How will the school journey fit your family’s working day?
A school’s reputation cannot answer those questions for every child. Our profiles explain the documented options and identify details that need an individual answer from the school.
How to use our research
Links beside claims and paragraphs lead to fee schedules, admissions policies, inspection reports and other named sources. Supporting records record supporting documents and unresolved questions.
Check the review date and academic year before relying on a figure or policy. A published service does not guarantee a place for your child.
Where we use an attributable parent account, we identify it as reported experience. Document-based profiles do not imply that we visited a campus or interviewed families. Our assessments are editorial judgments.
Our coverage
NewSchoolRun publishes 37 city guides, 114 school profiles and 17 practical guides. These cover curricula, admissions, school costs and the daily decisions involved in a move.
Our point of view
We value clear teaching programmes, appropriate challenge, accessible support and honest communication. The right choice also needs to work for the family’s budget and daily life.
Schools cannot pay to change our research or recommendations. Sponsored placements, when offered, are labelled separately.
