Parent-association ownership and two campuses

The Alice Smith Schools Association owns the school. The 2025–26 fee schedule requires parents to become Parent Members, with a RM20 membership fee, before their child is admitted. The school describes itself as not-for-profit, with resources reinvested in education rather than distributed to shareholders.

The primary campus at Jalan Bellamy has been used since 1955 and serves Pre-school through Year 6. The secondary campus at Equine Park opened in 1998 on approximately 25 acres in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, so families with children in both phases have two school runs.

Curriculum, accreditation and results

The school describes itself as a COBIS-accredited member and records two June 2024 Beacon Status awards, for Ethos & Values and Student Leadership. It is a founding member of FOBISIA and lists other professional memberships, including CIS and EARCOS. Membership is distinct from accreditation. The reported pathway follows the English National Curriculum, with IGCSEs in Years 10–11 and A levels in sixth form. Secondary sources describe approximately 25 A-level subjects across Edexcel, Cambridge and AQA. Obtain the current subject list, entry requirements and timetable combinations for your child; a broad catalogue does not mean every combination runs.

Admissions and cost

Dated fees, tax and joining payments

The official 2026–27 schedule lists termly fees from RM17,910 for the normal Pre-school day to RM40,790 for Years 10–13, so annual tuition is RM53,730–122,370 before applicable tax. It also lists a RM1,500 application fee, a RM20,000 enrolment fee and a refundable parent deposit of RM15,000–24,000. Pre-school and Reception entrants pay RM5,000 of the enrolment fee to confirm the place and a further RM15,000 on entering Year 1.

The school’s fee page describes 6% Service Tax on affected charges and marks them on its schedule. Request an invoice showing which fees are taxable for your child and whether any exemption applies. For illustration, tuition of RM112,950 would become RM119,727 if the full amount attracts 6% tax. This is a calculation using that quoted amount, not a complete Year 7 invoice.

The 2026–27 schedule includes books, materials and resources but excludes meals, transport and uniform. The MLL programme from Year 7 to Year 13 carries a termly fee of RM4,500, or RM13,500 across three terms before applicable tax. Listed sibling tuition discounts are 6% for the third child and 10% for the fourth and subsequent children. The parent deposit requires one full term’s withdrawal notice for refund under the cited terms; obtain the exact deadline and conditions for your entry year.

Admission involves assessment and English-language expectations that vary by age. Ask about the assessment, available EAL provision and places for the intended start date. Parent forums describe individual experiences, not school-wide satisfaction, current waiting times or a formal application deadline.

The Jalan Bellamy campus is in central Kuala Lumpur; Equine Park is in Seri Kembangan. Compare the journey to the relevant campus before choosing housing. If siblings will attend both sites, ask about pickup times, bus routes and after-school arrangements. Try the journey at the expected school-run time, including the return trip after activities.
