What the school is

Ownership and the relationship with Repton UK

The UAE Repton schools began through a partnership between Evolvence Knowledge Investments, later Excella, and Repton School UK in 2006. Repton Dubai, Repton Abu Dhabi and Repton Al Barsha became part of Cognita in 2023. Repton Al Barsha was previously Foremarke School Dubai; it is a separate school from this Nad Al Sheba campus.

The relationship with Repton UK does not mean the English school owns the Dubai campus or guarantees transfers. Ask what the partnership provides in practice, such as exchanges, staff collaboration and oversight, and what admission would require if your child later moved to the UK school.

The March 2024 inspection recorded 2,374 pupils, including more than 450 Emirati pupils and about 200 Students of Determination. These dated figures give a sense of the school’s scale.

Sixth-form options and dated results

Pupils study towards GCSE before choosing a sixth-form pathway. Published material describes the IB Diploma, IB Career-related Programme with BTEC, and A levels, with around 45 subject choices across the sixth form. That total does not mean every combination is available: request the current options booklet, entry requirements and timetable restrictions.

The school’s 2025 press release reports an IB Diploma average of 35 points, a 100% pass rate and a highest score of 43. The reported 2024 average was 36. An external profile also lists IGCSE results of 54.9% A*–A and 97% achieving five passes including English and mathematics; confirm the examination year and cohort before comparing those figures. Different cohorts and entry policies limit comparisons with another school’s headline average.

Published summaries record Outstanding in the 2023–24 KHDA cycle and identify areas for improvement in Arabic, Islamic Education and consistency of primary teaching. An earlier BSO report raised differences between the boys’ and girls’ boarding experience. Both findings are dated, and later reports supersede them.

Admissions and cost

Fees 2026–27, boarding and admissions

Repton School Dubai teaches the English National Curriculum, with Arabic and Islamic Studies, to pupils aged 3–18 at Nad Al Sheba 3. Pupils sit GCSEs in Years 10 and 11, then choose A levels, BTEC qualifications or the IB Diploma in the sixth form. For 2026–27, annual tuition runs from AED 57,178 in FS1 to AED 102,753 in Years 12–13. Admission has four steps: an enquiry, a school tour, registration with the child’s passport and latest report, and an assessment, with a decision emailed within three working days. Children join FS1 from age three once toilet trained; for 2026–27, year groups follow calendar-year birth dates, so FS1 is for children born in 2024.

The 2026–27 schedule lists annual tuition of AED 57,178 for FS1, AED 63,025 for FS2, AED 64,631 for Years 1–2 and AED 75,953 for Years 5–6. Secondary examples are AED 81,121 for Year 7, AED 95,182 for Years 10–11 and AED 102,753 for Years 12–13. Fees are billed across three terms in proportions of 40%, 30% and 30%. The application and assessment fee is AED 525 including VAT. The 10% new-pupil deposit and 5% returning-pupil deposit are credited against tuition, so do not add them again as extra annual fees. External guides describe advance-payment and sibling discounts and transport charges of roughly AED 6,100–11,500 by zone.

For 2026–27, weekly boarding costs AED 66,500 and full boarding AED 72,000 for Years 7–13, including meals and excluding tuition. A new Year 7 full boarder’s tuition and boarding total AED 153,121. If a school-arranged visa at AED 5,000 and under-18 medical insurance at AED 8,400 apply, the total is AED 166,521 before application and other extras. The AED 50,000 refundable boarding deposit is a separate cash requirement.

Admissions includes observed play in the early years and reading, mathematics and English assessments from Year 1. The school describes remote assessment for overseas applicants. Historical scholarship reporting mentions academic, music and sport awards; ask for the current scope, deadlines, award value and renewal conditions.

The family experience

Facilities, staffing and the daily journey

The Nad Al Sheba campus covers about 1.3 million square feet. Published reporting describes a 600-seat performing arts centre and a Sports Village opened in 2025.
