Dubai is co-educational and offers the IB pathway, with no GCSE or A-level route. Its admissions are academically selective and include testing before an offer. Families transferring from another curriculum should ask about placement, subject prerequisites and any support needed during the transition.

The cited sources give different enrolment figures: edcare lists 1,581 pupils, while CBRE reports 1,825 for 2024–25. These figures may describe different reporting periods, and whole-school growth says little about space or class sizes in a particular grade.

The reported 2024 IB Diploma cohort averaged 37 points, with a 100% pass rate, 34% scoring at least 40 and a highest score of 45. The reported 2025 average was 36.5. The cited review also reports an MYP eAssessment average of 47 out of 56. MYP and Diploma scores use different scales and should be considered separately.

The 2024 Diploma results describe 32 students; the cited review puts the 2023 cohort at approximately 20. The available 2025 summary gives an average without the cohort size or pass rate. Small cohorts and selective admissions are relevant context when comparing schools.

The February 2024 KHDA inspection rated NLCS Dubai Very Good overall. The cited summaries record Outstanding curriculum design, personal development and parent engagement, with Outstanding mathematics and science attainment in the MYP and Diploma phases. They also identify inconsistent challenge and adaptation of teaching, alongside Acceptable attainment in Arabic and Islamic Education.

The school’s 2026–27 schedule lists KHDA-approved annual tuition of AED 91,735 for Pre-KG, AED 96,157 for KG1, AED 104,999 for KG2–Grade 3, AED 108,314 for Grades 4–5, AED 127,103 for Grades 6–8, AED 132,629 for Grades 9–10 and AED 143,681 for Grades 11–12. These match the 2025–26 figures, consistent with the reported 2026–27 tuition freeze.

Published reporting distinguishes approved fees from lower billed amounts in 2024–25: ranges of AED 89,629–140,382 and AED 77,529–124,238 respectively. For 2026–27 the school lists an introductory discount for new joiners in their first year, from 13.5% in Pre-KG to none in Grades 4–5 and 4% in Grades 6–12, giving AED 79,351–137,934; sibling discounts of 5–15% then apply. The application fee is AED 500 plus 5% VAT (AED 525). Sources disagree on the acceptance deposit, giving either AED 10,000 or 10% of annual tuition; the percentage appears in an older fee document. Get the amount, tuition credit and refund conditions in writing before including it in a budget.

Ask admissions about the assessment for your child’s age, the application timetable and availability for the intended start date.
