What the school is

Founding, school structure and community programmes

The school teaches its own programme and holds WASC accreditation. Accreditation is separate from an Indonesian operating licence and does not make the programme an IB or Cambridge course. The local foundation is Yayasan Kul Kul. Secondary reporting describes Kul Kul Connection, founded in 2016, as an after-school English and sustainability programme serving more than 210 local pupils; confirm current participation separately.

The Bridge is an on-campus coworking and learning space launched in 2018. The annual Local Scholar Program levy supports places for Balinese children and includes membership for two parents. The 2025–26 admissions policy also describes a limited reserved-place route for families making substantial contributions, subject to review. A contribution does not guarantee admission.

Projects, the school diploma and transfer planning

The programme is organised into Early Years, Primary, Middle and High School, with project-based and place-based work. Named projects include Footprints in Grade 5, Quest in Grade 8 and Greenstone in High School. The school’s own Green School Diploma is a two-year programme. The cited admissions policy requires entry at the start of Grade 11 to complete it, so families considering Grade 12 entry should confirm their options before applying.

For university entry, ask how the school presents its diploma, transcript and project work, and obtain recent destinations with cohort numbers. Requirements vary by university and course. Families expecting to transfer before graduation should compare completed subjects and credits with the receiving school. A different assessment structure does not mean a pupil has no transferable academic record.

The cited terms describe WIDA assessment for English learners, with a High School composite level of 4 or 5 specified for access to the programme. The terms also place responsibility for finding and funding a required full-time one-to-one aide on the family, with the school approving and supervising that support.

Admissions and cost

Admissions, payments and withdrawal conditions

The 2025–26 policy and directory material describe August and January intakes, priority for full-year enrolment, a September age cutoff and a minimum age of three. They list a maximum High School entry age of 16 and application dates of 15 August and 15 December. These are dated requirements to confirm for the intended cycle. High School applications include reports, recommendations, an essay, a video and a committee interview.

The cited 2026–27 schedule lists an IDR4 million non-refundable application fee per enrolment cycle and an IDR36 million registration fee. Registration can reserve an offered place or add an applicant to the waiting pool, so clarify which applies before paying. The terms describe one-year validity and a new charge for deferral beyond two semesters. A separate IDR30 million deposit is held during enrolment, subject to the refund rules.

Two conditions affect the deposit. The cited terms provide for forfeiture on withdrawal before the twelve-month minimum and on notice received after the Intention to Continue deadline. They also state that tuition and other fees already paid are not refunded when leaving before the minimum period. Early Years may permit a single-semester enrolment when space allows, with a 10% tuition loading.

The 2026–27 directory table gives annual tuition of IDR185,445,400 for Gecko and Starling Early Years through IDR328,600,900 for Grades 11–12. Reported sibling discounts are 5%, 10% and 15% from the second child. The cited schedule adds 3% for semester payment, split 70/30, and 8% for termly payment, available to qualifying continuing families. It specifies a first-invoice deadline of 14 days, a 10% late-payment surcharge plus IDR500,000 administration, and IDR7,250,000 for High School service trips. The family experience

The campus is in Sibang Kaja, Abiansemal. The school’s 2020–21 relocation guide recommends confirming a place before making housing commitments. Waiting-pool registration is not a formal offer.
