What the school is

A British all-through school inside a global group

BSK serves ages 4–18 and describes pupils from more than 75 countries. Its historical student planner records 550 kindergarten and primary pupils in 1992 before the move to Salwa. A more recent third-party profile estimates approximately 3,800 pupils.

BSK belongs to Nord Anglia Education, a for-profit school group.

A recruitment profile lists BSO inspections including March 2023; the report itself carries dated findings on teaching, progress and support. Kuwait’s Ministry of Education regulates school fees. A 3% increase threshold is described only in an older investment guide that predates the current fee year.

The five-term year

The 2026–27 five-term calendar

The published 2026–27 calendar lists Term 1 from 30 August to 15 October 2026; Term 2 from 25 October to 17 December; Term 3 from 10 January to 4 March 2027; Term 4 from 14 March to 15 April; and Term 5 from 25 April to 10 June. The terms vary in length.

Compare the five-term calendar with siblings’ school dates and family travel plans. Ask how reporting and assessments fit within it, and whether there are restrictions on joining during a term. Five teaching terms do not mean five tuition instalments.

Admissions and cost

Applications and fees on request

BSK accepts applications throughout the year. Its published process includes a campus tour or virtual meeting, an age-appropriate interview or entrance assessment, then registration and payment if a place is offered. Applicants may join a waiting list when the year group is full.

The school’s fee page directs families to the Accounts Team for a quotation. It describes payment in full or three instalments of 40%, 30% and 30%. A third-party guide estimates annual tuition from approximately KWD 2,800 in early years to KWD 5,200 in Years 12–13; the school has not published a current schedule. Ask for tuition, registration, deposits and extras in writing, including which payments are credited or refundable.

August 2025 reporting described a Kuwait International Bank tuition-payment partnership with BSK.

The campus is in Salwa, at Street 1, Area 1. Bus routes, collection after activities and siblings’ different timetables all shape the daily journey.
