What the school is

History and governance

The school states that it has no owners or shareholders and that its governors are unpaid. The 2026 inspection describes a standalone organisation with representatives of founding companies, staff and parents on its board. BSM says surpluses are reinvested in school development.

Qualifications, inspections and exam results

The early years follow EYFS, followed by an adapted National Curriculum for England and GCSE or IGCSE courses. The 2026 inspection describes a sixth form of 120 pupils, offering A-levels, BTEC National Diploma options, the Extended Project Qualification and a skills programme. A directory also lists an IB Diploma, which the 2026 inspection does not mention among the sixth-form courses.

A third-party directory reports approximately 72% A*–B at A-level and 98% grade 4 or above at GCSE for 2025. Ask for the school’s own results tables with cohort sizes and several years of results before comparing outcomes. Broad rankings against UK or Gulf schools do not account for differences in intake and qualifications.

Fees and the real cost

2026–27 tuition and infrastructure charges

Published 2026–27 tuition is OMR 4,400 for FS1, OMR 6,143 for Years 3–6, OMR 8,460 for Years 7–9 and OMR 10,666 for sixth form. New pupils also pay an OMR 50 assessment fee and an OMR 100 refundable deposit. The OMR 300 reservation payment is credited against first-term fees, so it should not be added again to annual tuition; it is forfeited if the place is not taken.

The infrastructure fee is OMR 300 per term for a pupil’s first nine terms from FS2, up to OMR 2,700. BSM publishes a waiver for children transferring directly from ABA or TAISM who have paid a comparable fee in full. The schedule also lists a 5% reduction for advance payment of the full infrastructure fee and sibling reductions of 25% for a third child and 100% for a fourth.

Fees are due by the first day of term. The schedule lists a 5% full-year advance-payment discount, a 5% charge for instalment plans and late-payment penalties that rise from 5% to 10% and then 15%. GCSE, AS, BTEC and A-level examination fees are additional, including postage and invigilation.

Admissions

Assessment and available places

After application, the school arranges an assessment, with the OMR 50 fee due by the assessment day. Offers require a reservation payment within 14 days. Availability varies by year group, and older waiting-list reports are out of date.

FS1 through Year 13 are on one campus, which may help families with children of different ages, although each sibling needs a place in their own year group. Families transferring from ABA or TAISM should obtain written confirmation of any infrastructure-fee waiver before relying on it in their budget.
